AN air conditioner installer is fighting for his life in hospital this afternoon after a freak accident.

According to Chris Botha, spokesman for Netcare911, paramedics received a call on Tuesday afternoon at around 2pm alerting them to an electrocution at a business premises on Intersite Avenue in Springfield. “Reports from the scene is that the man was commissioning an air-condition system when he accidentally came into contact with the live wires. Paramedics and the Netcare 911 rescue unit arrived at the scene and found the man lying on the roof of industrial premises with serious electrical burns,” he explained.
