Learn about the freedom of Ireland

A FREEDOM Day movie 1916 The Irish Rebellion will be screened on 27 April at Westville Country Club at 2.30pm.

The film is narrated by Liam Neeson, and film creator Prof Briona Nic Dhiarmada from Notre Dame University, USA, will introduce her film and take questions afterwards.

Interested persons are invited to attend the event and celebrate that first step to freedom in Ireland which inspired the search for freedom among oppressed people around the globe, including the freedom struggle in South Africa.

Tickets are R50 including tea/coffee and snacks. A cash bar will be available.
