Assistance sought by Durban Central SAPS

The police are urging the community to come forward with any information which will help solve a case of robbery.

DURBAN Central police is appealing to the community for assistance with regards to a case of business robbery they are investigating.

It is alleged that on 1 June at about 6.15pm, a group of five unknown suspects entered the business premise in the Durban CBD, where they demanded cash and cigarettes at gunpoint. Some shots were fired and wounded one of the customers. The suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.

Anyone who might have information about the whereabouts of the men involved is urged to contact the investigating officer, Warrant Officer on 031 325 4544 or Crime Stop number on 08600 10111.
