Biker and pedestrian killed last night

A BIKER and a pedestrian were killed during a collision on Jan Smuts Highway near Harris Crescent in Durban on Friday evening.

Rescue Care’s operations director Garrith Jamieson said paramedics and other emergency personal arrived on the scene and found the biker had collided with a pedestrian.

“Both patients were found lying unresponsive near the bike. Paramedics assessed both patients and found that they had both sustained critical injuries and had both sadly passed away before paramedics arrival. They were both declared dead on scene,” he explained.

Jamieson said Sydenham SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
