Welfare invites tenders for pre-school lease
A tender is open for the lease of the pre-school at the Child Welfare Durban and District premises.
IF you’re looking to establish a pre-school then the Child Welfare Durban and District is inviting you to tender to lease a property it has under its care.
The existing pre-school, Thokozani Educare Centre, is a pre-school facility that also boasts an aftercare facility, for a maximum of 60 children aged between three and six years old.
The successful applicant will be required to have or acquire appropriate registration with the Department of Education, have adequate experience and/or expertise in operating a pre-school facility and aftercare centre, and will have to enter a lease agreement for a minimum period of five years. The applicant should also be able to furnish and equip the facility at their own cost and assume exclusive responsibility for the payment of municipal costs, such as electricity and water, and fund salaries.
To apply for the tender, write a motivation identifying suitability for the tender award and the benefits that will accrue to CWDD should the tender be accepted.
