Three injured in CBD smash
The police will be investigating the cause of an accident in the Durban CBD on Tuesday night.
THREE people were injured after the vehicle they were travelling in collided with a traffic light at the intersection of Florence Nzama (Prince Alfred) Street and KE Masinga (Old Fort) Road on Tuesday evening just after 8pm.
According to Garrith Jamieson, operations director for Rescue Care, paramedics arrived on scene to find that a single vehicle had collided with the traffic light.
“Three people had been injured. The three were stabilised on the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further care,” he said.
Jamieson said it was not clear what caused the vehicle to lose control and collide with the traffic light, however the necessary authorities were on scene and will be investigating further.
