A woman believed to be in her 40’s was treated by paramedics after having been wounded in a stabbing incident in Soldiers Way, in Durban, earlier today.
ER24 paramedics were flagged down by police and went to the aid of the woman who was found on the side of the road near a bridge. She had sustained deep wounds to her left hand.
She was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital.
The exact details surrounding the incident are unknown.
This is the second serious stabbing incident that ER24 paramedics attended to in KwaZulu-Natal since last night.
A 28-year-old man was found in a critical condition last night after having been stabbed at least thirty times across his body in Clermont, Pinetown.
Paramedics placed him on life support and transported him to hospital.
