Durban businesswoman honoured at KZN awards
Claudette Lingenfelder was the winner of the Business Category at the annual KZN Young Achiever Awards.
DURBAN’S Claudette Lingenfelder was named the winner of the Business Category at the annual KZN Young Achiever Awards at a gala dinner event on at the Blue Waters Hotel recently.
Finalists in 11 categories from various sectors, ranging from environmental to sports and business to arts were selected from more than 1 000 nominees and judged by an independent judging panel.
Over the past two years, Claudette, owner and manager of Beauty Beyond, has used her astute business skills and passion for people to grow her business.
“I am very thrilled to receive this award and honoured to have been nominated among such talented individuals. It truly is a great accomplishment for my business as well as for me personally,” said Claudette.
Claudette attributes her success to her motivational, approachable and hands-on business style.
“Stay true to yourself and believe in yourself and you’ll be unstoppable. An active member of KZN Women in Business and Umhlanga Women Achievers, Claudette strongly believes in the power of networking with like-minded business women.
Claudette had the following reminder to business owners: “Success in business is not measured by the awards you win but by your small daily accomplishments. If you work hard, with passion and determination you can achieve anything you put your mind to.”
