Three hurt in CBD fire
Three people were injured, one critically, in fire that broke out in a residential building in Durban's CBD on Saturday night.
TWO people sustained minor injuries and one was left in a critical condition after a fire broke out in their residential building in Hermitage Road in Durban CBD just before 6pm on Saturday evening.
Rescue Care Paramedics and Durban Fire Department responded to the call for medical assistance. Paramedics found that two people had sustained minor injuries and one person was in a critical condition and needed Advanced Life Support intervention as a result of the fire. They were all treated and stabilised on scene before being transported by ambulance to hospital.
The exact cause of the fire is unknown however the Durban Fire Department and SAPS are investigating.
