
RESIDENTS are invited to the Berea Sector Crime Forum Sector 2 meeting on Thursday, 27 October at Hotel 64 on Gordon, Gordon Road, Morningside, at 5.30pm for 6pm.
There will be a report by the chairperson, Nicky Burke, as well as a report by the Sector 2 commander Sgt James, a report by Metro Police, general feedback, information on crime prevention work being done in the area including patrols, an update on the joint satellite station for the sector and forthcoming operations for the area.
Councillor Martin Meyer will address residents, and feedback will be given on community projects in the area including the Rapson Road Neighbourhood Watch, the COPS Innes Rd with Blue Security, the Morningside Security Initiative with Enforce Security, the Morningside Neighbourhood Watch, the Florida Road UIP and the security companies report.
Residents can learn more about a crime awareness program, Facebook page, the Crime Help App, the website, crime stats, the war room initiative
and trauma room
and enrolment of new members to the SCF.
