LOCAL residents of Morningside packed a meeting room at Hotel 64 on Gordon last Thursday for Berea’s Sector Two crime meeting where they got to meet the new station commander and head of detectives.
Berea police’s station commander Colonel Nkosinathi Radebe, speaking at the meeting assured the public he was keen to bring his leadership and expertise to the Berea.
“We need the community to be on board to be vigilant and observant of their surroundings,” he advised the community.
Nicky Burke, Sector Two chairperson said, “It is really great to see improved support from the community,” she said.
