Breakfast supports charity
A morning abuzz with glitz and glamour for The Sunflower Fund.
THE Belvedere Room of the Durban Country Club was abuzz with glitz and glamour recently as 200 women, dressed in their ‘sparkling’ best, attended the 4th Annual Denim and Diamonds Ladies Breakfast in support of The Sunflower Fund.
Guest speakers for the morning included, Carey Symons, Matthew McDonald and Hilton Stander who shared intimate details of their personal journeys which left the audience impassioned and moved.
Funds raised from the breakfast will enable The Sunflower Fund to create awareness, and to educate and recruit more blood stem cell donors to increase the number of people registered on the South African Bone Marrow Registry.
