BEREA police arrested two people for being in possession of dagga.
According to Capt Poobalan Naidoo, communications officer for Berea SAPS, on 27 March at around 1pm, Berea Crime Prevention Sgt C Dennis and his team were patrolling along Steve Biko Road when they stopped and searched a suspicious-looking man and woman.
“Police officers found +-200 grams of dagga in their possession, They were both arrested and detained at Berea SAPS,” he said.
They are due to appear in court.
Capt Naidoo said stop and searches will be conducted regularly.
