THERE were cheers of celebration at Maris Stella on Friday, as the matrics bid their final farewell to their school years before embarking on study leave ahead of their final exams.
Matrics at private schools, who will write the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) examinations, finished their year on Friday, with IEB exams running from 23 October, and ending on 29 November.
The National Senior Certificate examination also officially kicked off with English Paper 1 on 23 October, although some of the Class of 2019 wrote their first paper on 15 October.
The exams conclude on 28 November.
