Second time’s a charm for Hunt Road matric learner

This matric student rewrote his matric exams after not doing to well in 2019.

WHEN Biafra Useni passed with a higher certificate admission last year, he rewrote his matric exams again.

“It was a very stressful year but I pushed and I passed with a Diploma pass,” he said.

Useni was one of the many matriculants at Hunt Road Secondary School who passed matric and are moving to the next chapter of their lives.

Useni said the decision to redo his matric was not an easy choice to make as he had to balance a job and his studies.

“I studied at home so a lot of people helped me. I went through past papers, did revision and all that stuff, I only came to school to write the exams. I was aiming for at least As and Bs but I am happy with what I got,” he said.

Useni said his marks would allow him to enroll for a Logistics Supply Chain Management course.

“I am very fascinated with the world of logistics and transportation. How to get this part from A to B, basically anything to do with logistics. I want to (make) a household name for myself,” he said.
