Runner dies after being hit taxi
The incident took place on the R603 in Cato Ridge between Durban and Pietermaritzburg.
A runner was killed when he was hit by a taxi on Thursday morning.
Shawn Herbst, spokesperson for Netcare 911 paramedics, said Netcare 911 responded to the incident on the R603 in Cato Ridge between Durban and Pietermaritzburg.

“Reports indicate that an adult male, wearing running attire, had been struck by a mini-bus taxi. Medics assessed the patient who had sadly sustained fatal injuries,” he said.
