SAPS arrest suspect with stolen vehicle on Snell Parade
The vehicle was checked and the engine numbers came positive and was linked to a theft of vehicle case that took place in Johannesburg.
A SUSPECT (36) is expected to appear in the Durban Magistrate’s Court tomorrow, 10 June after he was arrested with a stolen vehicle on Snell Parade in Durban.
Spokesperson for the Durban Central SAPS, Captain Muzi Maphumulo, said the arrest was made on Tuesday, 8 June.
“The Provincial Task Team members were patrolling along the Snell Parade area in Durban when they received a signal of a suspected stolen vehicle in the vicinity. The members stopped the blue Audi A7 and requested to check the vehicle. The vehicle was checked and the engine numbers came positive and was linked to a theft of vehicle case that took place in Johannesburg,” he said.

The suspect was arrested for possession of stolen property and will be linked to a theft of vehicle case.
“The vehicle was taken to the police pound for further investigation,” said Maphumulo.
