City ready to host Durban Fashion Fair 2021
Emerging designers are encouraged to submit their work for the showcase.
EXCITING news for fashionistas! The eThekwini Municipality invites fashion designers, who are eager to be a part of the Durban Fashion Fair (DFF) 2021, to submit their designs for consideration.
The city said the DFF showcase will take place from December 15 to 17 at the Durban Exhibition Centre.

The head of business support, tourism, markets, and agri-business unit, Nonku Mthembu said the DFF is an excellent platform for fashion designers, and others within the fashion value chain, to showcase their work as the event attracts industry roleplayers and buyers.
“Many fashion designers, who previously participated in the programme, received exposure, training, and mentorship and are now household names in the industry,” she said.

Mthembu said interested designers must submit a complete storyboard of their collection/garment samples that will be showcased in the DFF 2021, proof of residence, their CV and certified copy of their ID.
“Submissions must be directed to Nondumiso Mthembu, 7th Floor, Embassy Building, 199 Anton Lembede Street before 12pm on November 19,” she said.
