‘In preparation for the 2024 National and Provincial General Election, the Commission conducted a series of activities to ensure that this will be a smooth election. This includes the re-delimitation of voting districts (VDs), targeted communication and registration to register voters affected by VD boundary changes, staff recruitment and training, voter management device enhancement and a dry run.”
Masinga said that with these preparations in place, they can confidently say they are ready for the registration weekend.
“We encourage all eligible voters, especially the youth, to use this opportunity by visiting our voting stations on November 18 and 19 or to use our online platforms,” she said.
