AKA killed in Florida Road shooting
Two victims were killed in the shooting last night.
FLORIDA ROAD in Durban was bathed in chaos following the shooting of award-winning South African rapper, Kiernan “AKA” Forbes on Friday evening (February 10).
Paramedics, SAPS and Metro Police were called out to a bar along the popular entertainment strip where the incident is said to have unfolded.

According to ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson, two men, including AKA, believed to be in their late 30s, had been shot multiple times.
The first victim paramedics tended to, unfortunately, showed ‘no signs of life’ and was declared deceased on scene, he said.

Paramedics found the second victim inside the venue.
“He was found in critical condition. Despite advanced life support intervention, the patient’s condition deteriorated, and he passed away at the scene,” added Jamieson.
