Alleged couple’s dispute ends in murder in Durban

A Durban father was taken into custody by police after an alleged dispute with his partner ended in a fatal stabbing, on Earl Haig Road in Morningside, on Friday, October 20.

According to PT Alarms spokesperson Dhevan Govindasamy, PT Alarms responded to the scene where the female was found with multiple stab wounds.

“It is alleged the victim attempted to flee from her partner and ran into a car that was passing. The partner then caught up with her after she fell and stabbed her again,” said Govindsamy.

“The suspect was apprehended by the community and security companies. The suspect is now in custody at Mayville SAPS,” said the spokesperson.
