Young designers set to showcase their fashions

Young Designer Awards participants are set to show off their designs at the Gateway Theatre of Shopping on June 19.

THE second round of judging for the Hollywoodbets Durban July Young Designer Awards is set to take place on June 19 at the Gateway Theatre of Shopping.

This exciting event will feature a panel of esteemed judges from the fashion industry, including soccer legend and Hollywoodbets Brand Ambassador, the stylish Teko Modise, also known as ‘The General’.

The Hollywoodbets Durban July Young Designer Awards is an annual competition dedicated to discovering and nurturing emerging talent in the fashion industry.

According to a statement released by Hollywoodbets, the event offers young designers a platform to showcase their creativity, gain industry exposure and receive valuable support from the Hollywood Foundation through bursaries and other opportunities.

“The participants will be judged by a prestigious panel of experts, including fashion industry leaders. Teko Modise’s unique style and influence adds a touch of glamour to the event,” said Hollywoodbets.

The Top 10 Young Designers will be announced as they compete for a coveted spot in the finals, set to take place at the Durban July on July 6.
