Gear up for Tour Durban cycle race
There will be no less than 10 events spread over two days of action-packed participation sport.
THERE are just under two weeks to go before this year’s aQuellé Tour Durban road cycling race on Sunday, April 27.
The full weekend of action kicks off on Saturday, April 26 with a trail run and the aQuellé Tour Durban MTB which will all start and finish on South African Sugar Association land near Cornubia Mall.
There are three mountain biking events over 40km, 20km and 10km and three trail runs including a long (about 20km), medium (about 10km) and a short race (about 5km).

For Sunday’s event cyclists have the choice of four distances, 110km, 68km, 42km and 28km which will all take place from Moses Mabhida Stadium.
For 2025, the organising team aims to ensure that all riders experience a top-quality aQuellé Tour Durban, but equally important is the focus on making the weekend a genuine value-for-money cycling event.
This year, the 68km race has been added to Sunday’s menu.
The Domino Foundation will once again be the designated beneficiary.
All cycling entries are open on MyActive at www.events.myactive.co.za and trail running entries are at www.kzntrailrunning.co.za.
