Watch: Scores gather for another Durban march against illegal foreigners
Protesters march through Durban under the theme ‘Abahambe’, calling for greater inclusion of local businesses.
A protest, under the theme ’Abahambe’ (they should go), is currently underway in the streets of Durban, after crowds of protesters gathered at King Dinuzulu Park.
The march, described as ‘peaceful’, is led by the March-And-March group, the Zulu regiment’s leadership, and by supporting political parties.
The protesters, who also made a bold move in Johannesburg last week, seek the inclusion of local businesses, thus taking over from foreign-owned businesses.

The march will proceed to the Point area, which they believe is “the hub of foreign infiltration”. It will then culminate at Gugu Dlamini Park.
Police and private security companies are present for any contingency.
