What's on in and around Durban this weekend.

A TRIBUTE to LM Radio’s Top Hits as heard on their Top 100 playlist will be ‘broadcasting live’ from the New Germany Sports Club on 20, 21, 27 and 28 of July from 7pm.

This promises to be an evening packed with good music, laughs and fun quizzes, with plenty of spot prizes up for grabs.

ON Friday, 20 July, Salty Dog will perform at Gasoline Alley, Goodwood Road, Mahogany Ridge, from 7.30pm.

EXPECT only the very best in live music at the weekly Soul Sunday Sessions at Northwood Crusaders Sports Club on Sunday, 22 July, with a line-up featuring Jenny and The Jameses, an original Celtic folk band from Cape Town.

Joining them on the bill is one of Durban’s most interesting and exciting acts, the South Jersey Pom-Poms.

Entrance is free. First act up at 1.30pm.

Crusaders is at 10 Ranleigh Crescent at the bottom of Swapo Road/Broadway in Durban North. Contact 031 563 0824.

 

THERE is live music by Murphy (Music Unlimited) every Saturday at Stamford Hill Bowling Club, Arbuckle Road, Morningside from 4pm.

Enjoy fun social bowls from 3pm, with a bring and braai afterwards while enjoying the entertainment.
