Tribute to the King at Rhumbelow
The show gives a glimpse of what it was like to watch the King of Rock n’ Roll in Las Vegas when he made his return to live performances.

RHUMBELOW Theatre, 42 Cunningham Road, Umbilo, presents “Burning Love”, a tribute to Elvis, from Friday, 13 to Sunday, 15 November.
Doug Weich realised his calling to be an ETA (Elvis Tribute Artist) from a very young age. Climbing through the ranks, Doug has certainly cemented his place as one of the top ETA’s in South Africa. With his voice, moves, rhinestone studded jumpsuits and charisma, Doug’s shows are a must see.
The show gives a glimpse of what it was like to watch the King of Rock n’ Roll in Las Vegas when he made his return to live performances, starting from his debut in 1969 up until the late 1970s.
“Burning Love” is a show with all the glitz and glamour and is packed with timeless classic hits of yesteryear that will keep the audience thoroughly entertained, with all-time favourites such as Hound Dog, Blue Suede Shoes, Jailhouse Rock, It’s Now Or Never, Fever, Heartbreak Hotel, Johnny B. Goode and Suspicious Minds, to name a few.
The show is at 7.30pm on Friday and Saturday and at 2pm on Sunday. The venue opens 60 minutes before the show for snacks/drinks. Bar available (no alcohol may be taken on to the premises). Covid-19 protocols will be followed.
