The latest Tucson, which has replaced the ix35, has proven to be a massive success locally with the South Korean car maker claiming thousands of unit sales in its year-or-so within the local market.
Towards the end of 2016 two diesel variants were introduced to the range. The most frugal of the diesel pair is the 1.7-litre, which also provides 85kW/280Nm and a claimed consumption figure of just 4.7 litres/100km, making it one of the most efficient vehicles in its class.
