He pleaded guilty, was found guilty and sentenced on July 8, to six months imprisonment.

* Nkosanti Gumede (22) from Germiston, appeared in court on a charge of theft.
He had two previous convictions of theft, one in March 2010 and October 2011.
He pleaded guilty and was found guilty on June 25, and was sentenced on July 9, to 24 months imprisonment.
On June 10, the accused stole four slabs of chocolates, to the value of R51.96, from Boxers in Vosloorus.

* Chrimildo Machavane (33), a Mozambican national, appeared in court on a charge of theft.
The accused had four previous convictions for theft in October 2011, May 2012, June 2012 and November 2012.
He pleaded guilty and was found guilty on June 26, and was sentenced on July 10, to three years imprisonment.
On June 10 the accused stole a pair of Puma shoes to the value of R1 000 from Edgars in Vosloorus.

* Sipho Maloi (25), appeared in court on charges of aggravated robbery, murder, possession of a unlicensed firearm and possession of ammunition.
He pleaded not-guilty on November 2012, and was found guilty and sentenced on July 9, to 45 years.
He had two previous convictions, one for assault in 2004 and one for possession of a firearm in 2007.
On September 9, 2011, the accused assaulted a woman and stole R300 and killed a man.
He was found on the same day while in possession of the 9mm firearm and two live rounds of ammunition.
