The suspect in the Taegrin Morris killing is this morning due to appear in court for a formal bail application.

Reiger Park residents have vowed to continue protesting against the granting of bail to the murder accused, when he makes his second court appearance today.
The courtroom of the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court was also filled with hundreds of angry Reiger Park citizens on the first appearance of the hijacking and murder suspect of toddler, Taegrin, on Wednesday, October 29.
Tamsanqa Brutus Twala was arrested in Katlehong on Tuesday, October 28 and was apparently positively identified as one of the hijackers who hijacked the family while they were visiting a relative.
The death of Taegrin, who died in July after being dragged for a long distance behind a hijacked car in Reiger Park, left the community furious as many demanded justice.Taegrin was left hanging halfway out of the car in his safety belt and was dragged for almost 9km as the car was driven off by the hijackers.
Twala is facing charges of murder, aggravated robbery and possession of an unlicenced firearm.
