LifeLine desperately needs your help

LifeLine Ekurhuleni is still in desperate need of volunteers.

The centre recently held a “Walk with Heart” fun walk on February 7 in aid of raising funds to keep its counselling lines open.

Lauren Torlage, board member at LifeLine Ekurhuleni, said the organisation has raised enough funds to keep the counselling services open for a month and a half (45 days).

“We are still in need of funding to keep the counselling services open,” said Torlage.

“We also need professionally experienced counsellors or previous LifeLine counsellors who are willing to come back voluntary.”

LifeLine would like to encourage members of the public to donate what they can – whether it’s financially or volunteering their time.

Businesses and members of the public who would like to make a financial contribution can contact Torlage on 072 594 7034 or Debbie Richards on 072 253 1244.
