A day before the exams got underway, the Advertiser asked matric learners at Windmill Park Secondary School if they were ready for their final exams. Most of them said they were ready to nail the exams.
Brendon du Plessis: “I am definitely ready to write my final exams because I have studied hard and have received academic support throughout the lockdown.” Iviwe Msibi: “I am ready because I’ve been working hard by studying throughout the lockdown. I remained mentally stable, though sometimes it was hard but my dream to be a successful person kept me going.” Phila Buthelezi: “Although I’m feeling a little bit anxious, I’m ready to write my final exams. Even though we didn’t have the opportunity to come to school like we used to I’m pretty confident that I will do well.” Lindani Mantshola: “I have been studying a lot throughout the lockdown. I am confident and ready to start writing my final exams.” Lerato Sediane: “I think I am prepared to write my exams because I did well on my preliminary exams.
