Local hopes to win Mrs Universe Africa title

The semi-finalist explained Mrs Universe Africa is a competition that seeks to empower married, divorced or widowed women.

Witfield’s Candice Underhill was recently announced a semi-finalist in the Mrs Universe Africa 2021 pageant.

The owner of With Candi said she felt privileged to make it to the semi-finals.

“I love what the competition stands for. I’m that woman that never felt beautiful enough and doubted her ability, so this pageant hits very close to home for me. I’m incredibly blessed to be able to inspire millions of women all over Africa and the world.

“I want every woman, married, divorced or widowed to know that it is never too late to start over. We all have dreams inside of us and we need to get up, show up and go after them,” she said.
