#Mandela Day 2021: What are you doing for Mandela Day?
To share what you will be up to on the day or before and beyond, please email the details to us, and we will help to spread the word for you.
Next week Sunday is Mandela Day, and the day is expected to see a range of charitable activities with individuals and organisations putting in their 67 minutes of service in different communities.
In light of that, the Advertiser encourages our readers to share details on the good causes they will be involved in celebrating the day or the actions you will take to help change the world for the better.
Celebrated across the world on the former South African president’s birthday, Mandela Day aims to encourage people to take action to help those in need, the poorest of the poor in particular.

This year, the day comes at a time when the country is battling the pandemic, which has exacerbated the rate of unemployment and hunger. This has caused an overwhelming need for food and other basic necessities across communities.
To share what you or your organisation will be up to on the day or before and beyond, please email the details to faniem@caxton.co.za or boksburgadvertiser@caxton.co.za and we will help to spread the word.
