Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer and suicide.
The Advertiser took to the street to find local gentlemen who support the initiative.
Parkrand's Ashton Singer said he grew his moustache in support of Movember. “I want to raise awareness about men's health issues such as prostate cancer. I believe it's time men take their health seriously.”
Ashton Singer and David Branch are both fully behind the Movember initiative.
Local business owner David Branch said he is fully behind the Movember initiative: “I am growing my moustache this month in support of Movember, as I want to raise awareness regarding men's health. Men should take care of their health and not feel stigmatised.”
