Small Business Runway creates platform for entrepreneurs
Attendees were enlightened on topics such as financial education, access to markets and digital economy for small businesses.
The founder of Small Business Runway and Klippoortjie resident Gcina Madonsela held an informative session with small business owners from Boksburg and other areas on November 20 at the Boksburg Community Hall.
Sharing their journey and expertise with attendees, guest speakers included Norma Mngoma, Tebatso “King Vleis” Manyama, Thokozani Miya, Lebo Phasha, Zanele Ntombela and Rebeca Garande.
According to Madonsela, the event was aimed at empowering local business owners to market their products at various platforms, as well as to create a networking space for entrepreneurs.
“Some of the topics attendees were enlightened on was financial education, access to markets, digital economy for small businesses, as well as black businesses buying their power back,” she said.
