Hundreds enjoy New Beginnings Christmas Lunch

About 800 people benefitted from the lunch.

In the spirit of Christmas, New Beginnings Foundation held a Christmas lunch for underprivileged community members at its centre on December 11.
According to Past Jean-Paul Goris, CEO of the New Beginnings Foundation, the main objective of the lunch was to spoil the needy for Christmas by providing a healthy meal to them.
“We want to give back to the community and show people they are not alone,” explained Goris.
He explained they fed about 800 people from Boksburg at the lunch, adding most of the people are also beneficiaries of the foundation’s feeding scheme.
Goris thanked all sponsors like RCL, Pick n Pay Meadowdale Germiston, SA Harvest, Kellogs, Smartworx Group, McCain and the residents of the New Beginnings Care Centre.
All Covid-19 protocols were adhered to.
Lina Nkosi and Sela Tshabalala, who attended the lunch, expressed their gratitude to the New Beginnings Foundation.
“We’re thankful for the lunch and enjoyed it very much,” said Nkosi.
