Santa visits Atlasville

Atlasville Organisation, Boksburg North SAPS, Mamba, Intro Real Estate, CPF Boksburg North Sector 1 and ER24 and bikers escorted Santa.

Atlasville Organisation held a fun-filled Santa Drive in Atlasville on December 11.

The organisation, in conjunction with Boksburg North SAPS, Mamba, Intro Real Estate, CPF Boksburg North Sector 1 and ER24 and bikers escorted Santa around Atlasville during the drive.

Furthermore, the organisation collected items that will soon be handed over to the Salvation Army Benoni.

Liezel Pienaar, the organiser of the Santa Drive, described the event as a huge success.

“About 50 people (partners and Atlasville Organisation team members) and a few hundred residents came out to wave and see the drive procession.

“We covered the entire suburb and had a pre-planned route that was shared with the community in advance. There were also three brief stop-off points for children to have a photo taken with Santa.

“The highlight of the event was taking Santa to the children. There were lots of noise and lights with the bikers and emergency vehicles and Mamba. “Another highlight was the beach buggy decorated with Christmas décor and lots of lights. The children went crazy about it.

“Many children and adults lined the streets outside their homes to see and wave to Santa. It was a good turnout and much interest and festive spirit in Atlasville! We received a lot of thank you’s and compliments received from the community.”

She thanked everyone that contributed to the success and the Atlasville community for supporting the event.
