STORY: Watch – Potholes hit Ekurhuleni roads after heavy rains

Kayaletu Xuba: Because we had dysfunctioning municipality under ANC. Hopefully, this time things will work out.

Valerie van den Berg: Its been there for longer than before the rain. ANC municipalities did not do their jobs but got their salaries.

Allen Mee: Come to Beyers Park. We have a community fund and a resident who fixes the potholes.

Rina Steyn Holtzhausen: Sorry to say but the potholes are not repaired properly. Every time it rains, they fall in again. This is a long-term problem.

Dean van der Merwe: The potholes on Dudley Smith Road have been around before the heavy rains. The rains have just made them craters now. If fixed before this would not have happened.

MasterShi MasterShi: This new mayor needs to prove herself. Boksburg is now pothole city. Rondebult Road and corner Rondebult and Kingfisher there is a new big pothole there.

Patricia de Sousa: Come to Leeuwpoort Street in Boksburg South, one of the busiest roads in Boksburg. Three lanes and only one lane for driving, causing a lot of havoc.

Jaco le Roux: The roads are becoming very dangerous. Mimosa Street in Van Dyk Park is especially falling apart. Even some massive potholes in Rietfontein Road.
