Six Christmas babies for Tambo Memorial this year

Tambo Memorial Hospital welcomed six healthy newborn babies – three girls and three boys – on Christmas Day.
Baby Semenya, who weighed 1.340kg, was the first baby to be delivered at the hospital at 01:00.
He was followed by baby Hlatshwayo and baby Nkothe, who weighed 2.540kg and 3.240kg, respectively, at 02:05.
The fourth child born at the hospital, at 04:55, was baby Moyo who weighed 2.960kg.

Babies Mharala and Nxumalo were the last to be delivered, at 05:30 and 06:20, respectively.
One of the mothers, Duduzile Hlatswayo, of Villa Liza, shared her excitement of giving birth on Christmas Day with the Advertiser.
“I am so happy that I gave birth to a healthy bouncing baby, my second child, on a very special day like this one,” said Hlatswayo.
