Cycling association welcomes new CEO

He has over 30 years experience in various sectors.

The Pedal Power Association (PPA) will welcome Neil Robinson as its new CEO from February 1.

As per the association’s resolution at its AGM in 2021, Robinson’s key mandate will be to focus on the broader aspects of enabling cycling to serve the interests of all citizens.

With over 30 years of experience in various sectors, including the NGO and social enterprise spaces, he brings a strong strategic development and marketing background to the role.

He also has experience in growing and developing new businesses and creating employment opportunities at the local level.

While Robinson is keen to take on the challenge of meeting PPA’s broader mandate to have cycling recognised both as a means of transport and as a sport, he remains aware of the history of PPA and the interests and values of its members.
