Local pre-school among winners of Preschools 4 Africa Excellence Awards
The Play-with-a-Purpose (PWAP) Educational Trust, trading as Preschools 4 Africa, recently announced the Boksburg-based Groentjies Kleuterskool was one of the recipients of its 2022 annual awards.
The award winners were announced at the 13th Annual Awards and Sponsors Banquet hosted and sponsored by Tsogo Sun Hotels in Roodepoort on March 24.
The Preschools 4 Africa Excellence Awards promote merit in career and early childhood education by recognising teachers and their pre-schools who have made extraordinary contributions to the PWAP programme that exemplify service excellence.
“These awards represent some of our most valued principles here at PWAP. These outstanding individuals have dedicated their careers and livelihoods to improving the communities with education, and we’re proud to see them receive this recognition,” said Robyn Wienand, founder and CEO.
These centres are sponsored for training and whole-school mentorship on the PWAP curriculum and programme.
