Winter Knights ready to wrap the needy in warmth

You can donate beanies, scarves, blankets and non-perishable foods.

As temperatures begin to plummet, the Winter Knights of the Round Table are gearing up to once again bring the joy of warmth to thousands of less-fortunate and destitute people.

Jean-Claude Duarte, former president of the local table, previously explained that Winter Knights is a home-grown and hands-on Round Table SA project that encompasses a campaign to aid the less fortunate during winter by collecting blankets, clothing and non-perishable food.

Round Table’s annual Winter Knights project has successfully seen the collection and distribution of blankets, warm clothing and food to thousands of people each year.

This project goes beyond provisions, by bringing hope to people in need.

The table is still in need of items that can help people overcome the biting cold, such as beanies, scarves, blankets and non-perishable foods.

They would like to help as many people as possible. The more donations they receive, the more people they can assist.

Donations can be dropped off at the Round Table clubhouse, at 32 Lancaster Road.

He expressed his gratitude to those who contributed to the project and said the table couldn’t have done it without their support.
