#MandelaMonth: St Francis wish list for July

St Francis Care Centre is a registered NPO which caters to dozens of vulnerable children and adults, most of them suffering from threatening and/or life-limiting conditions.

The St Francis Care Centre shared its wish list for July and encouraged community members to support the organisation for Mandela Day.

Groceries and cleaning: washing powder, long-life milk, sugar, coffee, butter, salt and rooibos tea.

Rainbow Cottage: baby formula (Lactogen 1,2 and 3), children’s nappies (2, 3 and 4) and baby wet wipes.
General needs: donation of books for the book nook, appliances, furniture, cutlery, crockery, clothing for children and adults.

Financial assistance is also needed (banking details issued on request).

If you can help the centre in any way, contact 011 894 4151.

Furthermore, the centre is still accepting donations for the week of Mandela Day (18 July).

St Francis is working on a safe and secure contactless way to spend your 64 minutes at the centre. You will still be screened at the gate and sanitised to curb the spread of Covid-19.
