The Boksburg North CPF Sector One held a successful blood drive at Little Naples Pizzeria on July 2.
The CPF managed to collect 40 units of blood.
Marketing manager of the Boksburg North CPF Sector One Celine Bouwer described the event as a success.
“The CPF hosted this event as it brings people together to save lives
“We are more than happy with the outcome of the blood drive. Usually our target is between 18 and 30,” said Celine.
She expressed her gratitude towards the donors, the owner of little Naples Pizzeria that gave his grounds to them for the day, and all participating patrollers.
She highlighted the organisation will hold another blood drive on September 4.
Local donor relations practitioner Trude Gaarekoe thanked the CPF for helping SANBS to save lives through blood donation.
“They have done amazing in giving the gift of life within the community.”
