Shoot hoops for charity
Anyone who is interested is welcome to entre a team. The enrolment fee is R1 000.
Hammond Pole Attorneys will host a netball charity event on October 29 at the Benoni Action Sports Arena.
All proceeds from the event will go to Wollies, Wet Nose Animal Rescue Centre, Door of Hope and the Teddy Bear Clinic.
Anyone interested is welcome to enter a team. The enrolment fee is R1 000.
The four charities will be divided into four leagues and the four teams that win their group will contest the semi-finals and finals.
The winners will win a cash prize for the charities in their leagues.
Spectators are welcome too with an entry fee of R20 or a donation of an item that any of the charities can use (blankets/food (animal or human) / clothing and more. All money raised will be equally divided between the four charities.
