ZAProp stands up for the community in honour of Nelson Mandela

ZAProp, a real estate agency, dedicated their 67 minutes for Mandela Day to beautifying Boet Human Park in Beyers Park on July 18.

According to the agency’s marketing coordinator, Zukiswa Mangena, they decided to honour Nelson Mandela by painting playground equipment at a recreational facility in the area.

“As I drove around the neighbourhood, I noticed that the paint on the playground equipment was faded and in need to be repainted.

“Tata loved children, so we decided to do something that he would have loved and it turned out that the equipment’s colours matched ours. We believe that our top priority is to promote healthy and happy communities,” said Mangena.

“We are truly a rainbow company and that is what Nelson Mandela stood for,” Mangena added.
Principal agent Magriet Norris said that this was their first of many initiatives.

“We received good support from our agency, which resulted in a great turnout of 65 people out of 200. We are grateful,” said Norris.

Norris highlighted that they intend to renovate more parks on Mandela Day each year.
