The Boksburg SPCA is desperately in need of donations of adult and puppy dry food and are appealing for the community’s support.
The society has to feed about 60 dogs.
According to Boksburg SPCA manager Vicky Finnemore, 2023 has seen a drastic decline in pet food donations to the SPCA.
“We rely heavily on the generosity of our supporters to feed our animals. Help us have food security for the many animals in our care. Please consider dropping off a bag or two of dog food. Ask friends, family, colleagues and work management to consider making a contribution.”
Those who would like to assist may also order via Takealot, buy a bag of dog/puppy food in reception and donate back to the society or make a monetary donation.
