NPO’s continues to nourish needy children

Thusang Community Development continues its mission to change lives and nourish futures in informal settlements.

The Thusang Community Development NPO continues its commitment to serving those in need through its feeding scheme.

The organisation once again demonstrated their dedication by providing a soup kitchen at the Mhlangeni informal settlement in Boksburg on May 4. It impacted the lives of about 100 children.

Founder Lufuno Mudzuli said the initiative is not just about providing meals, it is a vital component in addressing sustainable development goals.

Volunteers from Thusang Community Development serve a nutritious meal to children at the Mhlangeni informal settlement.

“We are actively contributing to the eradication of poverty, and hunger and the improvement of overall health and well-being in the community by offering nutritious meals to the children.

“Our goal is to change children’s lives for the better through our feeding scheme.

“We believe the impact of our efforts goes beyond just filling stomachs; it extends to nurturing a healthier, more prosperous future for the children they serve,” said Mudzuli.

For those looking to support this cause, Thusang Community Development welcomes any assistance. Interested individuals can visit their website or follow them on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram under the name Thusang Community Development or contact Lufuno Mudzuli on 071 675 8555.
