Help organisation host fun walk for elderly

The Samukelo Esihle Community Projects is asking for donations to host the elderly fun walk in Mayfield on June 22.
“We are requesting assistance with anything that can help us entertain our elderly guests. We are expecting around 200 participants and 20 volunteers,” said project manager Samukelo Tshabalala.
The organisation was started in 2015 by Tshabalala to take care of pensioners and elderly in the Mayfield area. One of its major activities is offering them daily fitness and entertainment programmes.
“We engage the elderly in fitness activities, where we train them daily in various exercises. We operate an outdoor gym. These exercises have greatly improved the healthy and vitality of pensioners in Mayfield,” added Tshabalala.
