Alcra Rescue to host sterilisation day

Boksburg-based animal rescue organisation Alcra Rescue is calling on pet owners to participate in their Sterilisation Day event on May 10, offering heavily discounted procedures to promote responsible pet ownership and curb overpopulation.
The event features tiered pricing to accommodate various animals:
Male cats: R450
Female cats: R600
Dogs up to 15kg: R550
Dogs 16–25kg: R650
Dogs 26kg+: R800
Dental cleaning services will also be available at R750–R1100, with final pricing confirmed on the day.
Booking and logistics
A R100 deposit is required to secure a spot, with full payment due by May 8. Limited spaces are available and early booking is strongly advised.
Participants can opt for a sleepover service at Alcra’s Boksburg kennels for R150 per night, ensuring pets are safely accommodated the night before their procedures.
